AIM:To explore the perioperative nursing methods in the treatment of retinal detachment by vitrectomy.METHODS: Comprehensive nursing care were carried out before and after operation, including psychological care, guidance on how to take correct postural position and correct treatment of complications such as high intraocular pressure, pain, infection and other complications.RESULTS: The retinas were reset, vision was improved after operation.The effect of nursing care is satisfactory.CONCLUSION: Strengthening perioperative nursing care is an important measure to ensure the success of the vitrectomy operation.
