AIM:To analysis the refractive and ocular vision acuity changes of pre-and post-operation in different pterygium surgery.METHODS:A total of 24 eyes with primary pterygium were included in the study;12 eyes underwent pterygium excision and amnioticmembrane transplantation surgery;12 eyes underwent pterygium excision and conjunctival autograft transplantation surgery. Astigmatism and un-correctedvision acuity of pre-and post-operation were observed.RESULTS:In both groups, the astigmatism and visul acuity but not with hyperopia had statistic significance in pre-and post-operation.CONCLUSION:The refractive change in pterygium is hyperopia astigmatism,both pterygium excision and amnioticmembrane or conjunctival autograft transplantation surgery can low astigmatism degree and improve the visual acuity accordingly.
