    Abstract:

    AIM:To evaluate the efficiency of amniotic membrane transplantation to treat fungal keratitis. ·METHODS:Totally 26 cases 26 eyes with fungus keratitis and bad effect of drug treatment underwent thorough corneal infection elimination and the amniotic membrane transplantation. ·RESULTS:From 3 to 36 months follow-up,no rejection took place. Keratohelcosis healed in 21 cases,cornea restored transparency in 7 cases,and cornea formed the limited spot nebula or the floccosoids in 14 cases. Vision improved in 21 cases (81%). ·CONCLUSION:Amniotic membrane transplantation is an efficient method to treat fungal keratitis.
