    Abstract:

AIM:To evaluate the economic practicality of laser plastic operation of lacrimal duct combined with inversely planting silicone tube end treating lacrimal duct obstruction. METHODS:The patients of lacrimal duct obstruction were treated with traditional external dacryocystorhinostomy and laser plastic operation of lacrimal duct combined with inversely planting silicone tube end.The resluts were evaluated with the cost-effectiveness analysis of clinical economics. RESULTS:There was no significant difference between the effect of the 2 groups(P>0.05).The cost-effectiveness ratio of laser plastic operation of lacrimal duct combined with inversely planting silicone tube end is better, which is a better treatment. CONCLUSION:Laser plastic operation of lacrimal duct combined with inversely planting silicone tube end is an operative method which should be promoted.
