    Abstract:

    AIM:To reduce severe complications occurrance by analysis the infection cornea with iron foreign in 620 cases. METHODS:Totally 620 cases of infective cornea with iron foreign underwent topical anesthesia and the foreign body was removed with needle. RESULTS:The infective corneas by the above method had no residual of corneal foreign bodies,and no uveitis, corneal perforation,secondary glaucoma or ocular atrophy occurred. CONCLUSION:The infective cornea with foreign body needle under slit-lamp have a clear vision,accurate, infection,easy to operate and suit to primary hospitals; This method also can observe the location,scope of foreign body and depth of anterior chamber infection,and oxide pigment membrane reaction.
