    Abstract:

AIM:To explore the relationship between HbA1c and VEGF in the serum of patients with diabetes mellitus(DM).·METHODS:Eighty-six patients with DM were collected in the study. VEGF level in the serum was detected by using enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) for quantitative analysis. HbA1c was measured by Chromatograph spectrophotometer. The course of DM was recorded.·RESULTS:The level of VEGF had a significant positive correlation with HbA1c in serum and course of DM(P<0.01),while it had no significant difference with FBS and P2BS.·CONCLUSION:The level of VEGF had a significant positive correlation with HbA1c in serum and course of DM.
