AM:To study the effect of latanoprost on intraocular pressure,central corneal thickness and endothelial cell density of angle-closure glaucoma. ·METHODS:Totally 60 patients 60 eyes with angle-closure glaucoma were divided into 2 groups randomly. The first group was latanoprost group,the second group was sodium hyaluronate group. Intraocular pressure,central corneal thickness and endothelial cell density were examined before and 1 week,2 weeks,3 weeks,4 weeks after treatment in both groups.·RESULTS:The intraocular pressure was markedly decreased in the latanoprost group. As for central corneal thickness and endothelial cell density,there were no significant differences between the two groups. ·CONCLUSION:Latanoprost is effective in reducing intraocular pressure of angle-closure glaucoma.
