AIM:To study the causes and clinical features of ophthalmoplegia.METHODS:The retrospective analysis of 60 cases with ophthalmoplegia had been done.RESULTS:Of the 60 cases,27 cases(45%) were vascular resistance,15 cases(25%) were traumatic,13 cases(22%) were other causes and the causes of the rest 5 cases(8%) were not known.CONCLUSION:The causes of opthtalmoplegia are complex.The diagnosis of most ophthalmoplegia is easy by the age and mode onset and associated symptoms,at the same time relevant checks.
