Abstract:·AIM:To observe clinical efficacy of diclofenac sodium combined with traditional Chinese medicine for phlyctenular conjunctivitis.METHODS:All of 56 patients with phlyctenular conjunctivitis as treatment group received 1g/L diclofenac sodium eye drops combined with traditional Chinese medicine.28 patients with phlyctenular conjunctivitis as control group received 1g/L fluorometholone eye drops.The patients’ subjective symptoms and clinical signs were recorded to evaluate the clinical efficacy of the two treatment methods.RESULTS:There were statistical differences in subjective symptoms and clinical signs between two groups after treatment(P<0.05).All patients were cured without adverse effects or recurrence(P>0.05).CONCLUSION:Diclofenac sodium combined with traditional Chinese medicine is an effective method for phlyctenular conjunctivitis.
