·AIM:To observe the clinical curative effect of auto-corneal limbus stem cell transplantation and amniotic membrane transplantation for pterygium.·METHODS:The excision of pterygium with auto-corneal limbus stem cell transplantation and amniotic membrane transplantation were performed in 62 patients(including patients with recurrent pterygium).All operations were conducted by microscope.The survival time and recurrence rate were observsd.·RESULTS:Only 1 eye recurred.The recurrence rate was 1% after one year’s follow-up.·CONCLUSION:This operation is simple,safe and efficient.It can reduce the recurrence rate obviously.·
