    Abstract:

    AIM:To observe the effect of small incision cataract extraction and intraocular lens implantation.METHODS:Totally 265 cataract patients underwent surgery with a small incision cataract extraction technology for poverty alleviation projects in Turpan region.RESULTS: The operation was effective, with short treatment period, fast visual recovery and fewer complications. Off-blindness rate was 95.0%, off-disability rate was 92.2%.CONCLUSION:Small incision cataract surgery is a surgical approach of good clinical effect 
