AIM:To observate the therapeutic effects of canaliculotomy combined with retrograde intubation of lacrimal passage in the treatment of canaliculitis.METHODS:Forty cases of canaliculitis were treated with canaliculotomy combined with retrograde intubation of lacrimal passage,and postoperatively followed up for 3months.RESULTS:In all patients,28 cases were cured,12 cases improved.The effective rate was 100%.CONCLUSION:Canaliculotomy combined with retrograde intubation of lacrimal passage is a safe and effective way.
