Abstract:

Aquaporins(AQPs) structural studies have further deepened the awareness of people about this small molecule membrane protein on water and solute transport.To date,two AQPs expression in the lens have been reported,that is AQP0,AQP1.This article focuses on the discussion of AQPs distribution in the lens,its function and possible relationship with cataract formation.
