AIM:To observe the clinical effect and safe performance of Anetholtri Thione tablet in treatment of dry eye. METHODS:Adopting a randomized, parallel-control approach, 84 cases of dry eye patients were divided into treatment group and control group equally .The treatment group was applied Dextran and Hypromellose eye drops combined with oral Anetholtri Thione tablet, simply Dextran and Hypromellose eye drops for control group .The medicine’s curative effect and safety index were observed after a course of treatment for 60 days. RESULTS:The total clinical effect satisfaction rates were 95% for treatment group and 81% for control group, both with no serious adverse reactions. CONCLUSION: The combined Dextran and Hypromellose eye drops and Anethri Thione tablet perform better than Dextran and Hypromellose eye drops only in treatment of dry eye, and no serious adverse reactions.
