    Abstract:

Dendritic cells (DC)are the most efficient antigen- presenting cells which initiate immune responses. The corneal DC play a critical role in corneal transplantation rejection. Its maturation and centripetal migration strongly associated with the cornea transplantation and all types of keratitis. This article reviews the research on corneal DC and its role in corneal diseases.
