    Abstract:

    Complement and complement regulatory protein are present in the normal human eyes. Many studies support the concept that effective regulation by complement regulatory protein on complement system plays an important role in pathogenesis of various ocular diseases, such as keratitis, uveitis, age-related macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy. So, further studies are tend to get insight of the roles of complement regulatory proteins in development and treatment of these diseases.
