    Abstract:

    AIM: To observe the clinical effects ofautologous sclera covering in preventing the exposure of hydroxyapatite(HA)orbital implants.

    METHODS: Primary HA orbital implants were performed in 69 cases 69 eyes with double sclera or withrectus lamellar scleral for covering.

    RESULTS: Thetime of follow-up was 4 to 24 months. All patients had no exposure of HA.

    CONCLUSION: Primary HA orbital implants with double sclera or withrectus lamellar scleral for covering can prevent the exposure of HA effectively.
