    Abstract:

    Retinal angiomatous proliferation(RAP)is the other pathological pattern of wet age-related macular degeneration(AMD), which is originated from deep retinal focal intraretinal hemorrhage, pigment epithelial detachment and retinal-choroidal anastomosis(RCA). It can impair visual acuity severely. The pathogenesis, clinical stages, diagnosis features, treatment and prognosis were reviewed in this article.
