    Abstract:

    Adenoid cystic carcinoma(ACC)of lacrimal gland is the most common malignant epithelial lacrimal gland tumor. Excision alone shows unsatisfactory effect, which is easy to relapse and makes poor prognosis. This paper summarizes the clinical treatment for ACC of lacrimal gland, which covers the relevant domestic and international reports in recent years, including improved surgical approach, taking chemotherapy before and after surgery, radiotherapy.etc. Furthermore, treatment strategies for youth patients with ACC of lacrimal gland are reported and the diagnosis and treatment for ACC originated beyond lacrimal gland are analyzed. Above all, we may provide a broader way of thinking for ophthalmological clinicians.
