    Abstract:

    Refractory Glaucoma is a kind of intractable eye disease with strong destruction and high blindness rate, the failure rate of which is very high.The mainly reason is fibroblasts hyperplasia and scarring on filtration mouth that hindered the drainage and diffusion of aqueous. Combined trabeculectomy, glaucoma drainage device implantation, and cyclophotocoagulation are the common surgical procedures for refractory glaucoma. So far, glaucoma drainage device implantation is regarded as the first-line choice. The authors focus on the clinical efficacy and prospect of the surgery way for refractory glaucoma.
