    Abstract:

Optical coherence tomography angiography(OCTA)is a new noninvasive imaging method in ophthalmology. Based on optical coherence tomography(OCT), it has been gradually developed and applied in clinical practice. By scanning the red blood cells, OCTA can display the blood flow density and the structure and morphology of the fundus tissue, which has a high value in the diagnosis, treatment and efficacy of ophthalmological diseases(especially fundus lesions). With the advantages of high resolution, easy operation, rapid scanning and 3D imaging, OCTA has been applied in the evaluation and diagnosis of ophthalmic diseases(such as choroidal neovascularization, diabetic retinopathy, corneal and iris-related diseases, amblyopia, glaucoma etc.). This review is about the application of OCTA in ophthalmic diseases.
