Abstract:AIM:To investigate the efficacy and clinical safety of Aescin digitalis diglycosides eye drops on visual display terminal (VDT) syndrome, METHODS: Patient self-control was used. Aescin digitalis diglycosides eye drops were applied alone. VDT syndrome related symptoms were observed before and after treatment,including: unsustained near work, pain around the eyes and eyelids, foreign body sensation, heavy eyelids, blurred vision and double vision, red eyes, dryness and lacrimation, headache, nausea and vomiting, dizziness,a total of ten.RESULTS:VDT syndrome of patients significantly improved.No local or systemic adverse reactions were found during the observation period.CONCLUSION: Aescin digitalis diglycosides eye drops can effectively alleviate VDT syndrome, with clinical application safety.
