Abstract:To compare the pharmaceutical care quality of on-site consultation and hotline consultation in ophthalmology. METHODS:Totally 500 records of both on-site consultation and hotline consultation form July 2010 to June 2011 were randomly and separately selected to make a statistical analysis by content type and object group. RESULTS:How to use drug becomed the main content in both two consultation ways, took 61.4% in on-site consultation, while 89.8% in hotline consultation; for the object group, the community with drug-using issues took 58.2% in on-site consultation and 80.4% in hotline consultation. CONCLUSION:The service quality of hotline consultation is better than on-site consultation, and is more worthwhile for the pharmacy department in hospitals to promote.
