·AIM:To study the incidence of pterygium and pedicled conjunctival flap transfer operation for treatment of pterygium.·METHODS:Totally 180 cases 210 eyes of patients with pterygium underwent occupation analysis and pedicled conjunctival flap transfer operation.The follow-up time was 1 month-1 year.·RESULTS:The effective rate was 90.5%,and recurrent rate was 9.5%.·CONCLUSION:The occurrence of pterygium is environment-related,pedicled conjunctival flap transfer operation for treatment of pterygium has good effect,easy operation and low recurrence.·
