Abstract:AIM: To improve quality control of integrative medicine ophthalmology teaching research department continually.
METHODS: The background, theoretical basis and procedures of quality control circle(QCC)were introduced. The feasibility of QCC in the quality improvement of integrative medicine ophthalmology teaching research department was analyzed. The QCC pilot activity in integrative medicine ophthalmology teaching research department of our school were reviewed and summarized. The tangible and intangible achievements of QCC activity were analyzed.
RESULTS: After QCC's application, the species of teaching method, the number of multimedia, student engagement, student satisfaction, exam scores have improved to some extent, resulting in good tangible outcomes. At the same time, the department team's harmony, problem-solving skills, communication and coordination, responsibility, enthusiasm also improved, resulting in good intangible outcomes.
CONCLUSION: The methods of QCC were introduced into the quality control of integrative medicine ophthalmology teaching to improve the quality of this subjects teaching administration comprehensively and strengthen core competitiveness of integrative medicine ophthalmology teaching research department.
